East Coast, Baby!

It has been far too long since I have contributed to this blog. Months!
Carter Safari is now based on the East Coast in the town of Wenham, Massachusetts. The Studio space is small, and enclosed within the living quarters of a private residence. Currently, I am running low on business cards and brand labels! Oh No!
Perhaps if I can boost my sales in the next few months or luck into some windfall of prosperity, I will move along with those items & production.
Some newer items I have been making in addition to the No-Wedgie Underwear are as follows:

Thongs with elastic lace trims
Boy shorts (fitted)
Tap shorts with frilly 'lettuce-edge' hems
One piece front with two piece center back seam undies with lace (hopefully these are no-wedgie style, too)

And we shall see what else. Many items are still packed away from my move.

*most stores in the Portland area carried my items on a consignment basis. Most stores marketed the merchandise as 'Locally Made.' Since I moved, my items are no longer made locally to Portland :( Also, exchanging stock and payments, and keeping up with inventory gets more complicated when you do not have that face-to-face regular check in. And one of the stores sadly closed its doors due to the poor economy :(

Last day...

Today's my last required day of Carter Safari internship, I'm glad to have my hours done but will probably miss the work, lol. If Carter needs me I'll help out, but I'm going to try and get a paying job. I learned a lot here, and the practice has really helped out my sewing skills. I'm grateful Carter put up with my lateness and sick days, though I know I'll have to work on that soon.

Hip Happening

As the weather changes and temperature rises, like bears and moles awakening from a winter's slumber, Portlanders begin to wipe the crust from their eyes and don a pair of sunglasses.

Got the Shorts finished!!

Finally! I've been making a practice pair of shorts for my Boyfriend, just got them done on Friday. Its been my focus the last few weeks, and although making them was new and challenging, I didn't get to make any panties and the familiarity will be nice. But yeah, having fun. A little more than half done with my 90 hours for a credit ^_^ Finals are coming up though, so stress, stress, stress! I think I'll do all right though. I hope. I've been pretty off the last couple of weeks, but Carter's been sweet about it, so that's good. Anyways, I'll blog again in a few weeks. Ciao!

Valentine's Goodies @ Union Rose

Back to interning!

it's been a while since I blogged, but don't worry, I'm still here! Helping Carter with panties, yesterday I cut out trim for panties. Unfortunately I had to go babysit, so that was all I was able to accomplish. I'm going again today, though! <3 It seems my new schedule with Carter will be Thursday/Friday now, so I can get all my school credits in. I had a great Winter break... other than the cold, lol. And maybe she'll be taking me to the fabric store tonight! <3333
